Modernisation Modernisation of existing lifts is a cost-effective way of upgrading both the aesthetics and the efficiency of your lift.  Drum drive technology where no counter-weight is used can increase lift car space allowing more passengers to use the lift improving efficiency.  Lift drive and control technology has improved to such an extent that significant energy savings can be made over the life-time of a refurbished lift which can be further enhanced by the use of LED lighting.  Amalgamated Lifts has refurbished nine lifts in Bracken House, a listed building near St Paul's Cathedral and formerly home to the Financial Times Newspaper Group.  Over the life-time of the lifts it is anticipated that energy savings will be around £500k a significant figure by anyone's calculation. Why modernise? Improve the appearance and ride experience for passengers Save energy - reduce running costs Improve performance, reliability and safety A cost-effective alternative to installing a completely new system Accommodate change in use in a building Copyright (c) 2010 - 2011 - Amalgamated Lifts - All Rights Reserved                                                                                                    Web Design by Phenomenon
