Case Study: Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer

Overview: The site in question is No 65 Fleet St, one of the premises occupied by International lawyers Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. There are a total of 27 lifts spread across the FBD estate and Amalgamated Lifts service all estate lifts, with Paul Burrows and Kevin Barnes responsible for the upgrade work.

The initial program involved the modernisation of a duplex lift system, and, following the success of this installation, a bank of 6 lifts were refurbished with the final four simplex lifts in the process of being refurbished, which will complete all 12 lifts on this site. This includes two full fire fighting lifts within the building specified to EN81-72.
