Amalgamated Lifts sponsors 4 Peaks Challenge fund-raiser
7 August 2009 – Orpington UK – Amalgamated Lifts , leading providers of lift installation, modernisation and maintenance services throughout the South-East of England sponsored its client, Family Mosaic's Specialist Services manager James Rudge who completed the 4 Peaks Challenge last month. James and three of his colleagues successfully scaled the UK's four highest peaks Ben Nevis, Helvelyn, Snowdon and Carantouhill in Northern Ireland all within 48 hours, raising £12,000 for charity.
This is the third time James has completed the challenge and colleague Dennis Gittins holds the record completing a total of 13 Challenges. Their chosen charity Wooden Spoon is the children's charity of the rugby world. For 25 years Spoon has harnessed the spirit and values of rugby to give disadvantaged children in Britain and Ireland a chance to achieve their full potential in life.
Amalgamated Lifts maintains and services a total of 76 lifts for Family Mosaic. Family Mosaic provides good quality, affordable homes and housing services to over 45,000 people in communities across London and Essex and selected Amalgamated Lifts two years ago based for its combination of customer focus and competitive pricing.
