Amalgamated Lifts sponsored their client, Allsop Residential Investment Management Ltd (ARIM)

 

Amalgamated Lifts - 30 November 2009 – Orpington UK, Amalgamated Lifts sponsored their client, Allsop Residential Investment Management Ltd (ARIM) Senior Block Manager, Noella Morton, who has shed almost two stone over three and half months and raised £3.5k for Shelter Housing as part of ARIM’s 10th Anniversary Charity Appeal.

Noella said, ”It’s been hard work I initially tried to lose it on my own but in the end had to resort to joining a gym and Weight Watchers to reach the target weight loss of 21 lbs, and I have to say I feel fantastic for it. During this time I achieved a fitness award for ‘Most Improved’ at the gym (broke two nails in the process of that one) and from Weight Watchers a keying showing that I have lost more than 10% of my body weight. I am continuing with weight watchers and am now only a couple of pounds away from achieving, the gold key which means I become a ‘Free for life’ Gold Member having achieved the correct healthy BMI and weight for height and age”.

Noella is Senior Block Manager of Du Cane Court in Balham, the second largest residential block in Europe with 676 flats spanning 15 postcodes. Amalgamated Lifts has been maintaining the nine passenger lifts and one service lift in Du Cane Court for the past three years.

Commenting on the relationship with Amalgamated Lifts Noella said “I continue to be delighted with the personal service I receive. I have a single point of contact within Amalgamated Lifts and a dedicated field service engineer Nick Gosling who always reports to me personally in detail on every aspect of the lift maintenance. I had no idea that I could receive this level of service on all fronts when I switched maintenance companies three years ago and I continue to be impressed by the levels of responsiveness and consistency over time. I wouldn’t consider using another company for our lift maintenance.”

ARIM’s 10th anniversary charity appeal raised a total of £17.5k overall. Activities were coordinated from each of ARIM’s main offices in Brighton, Leeds, Glasgow and Balham. ARIM itself matched the fundraising efforts of the office with the highest total raised.
