Amalgamated Lifts were delighted to receive the Award for Best Medium- sized business at the Bromley Business Awards held on the 26 October 2011. The judges commented on the passion, dedication to customer care and growth of the company as being particularly impressive, and making them the stand-out contender. Amalgamated Lifts beat two other finalists, both much larger companies. The category for mid-sized business encompasses companies that turnover between £1 and £15m per annum. Director Simon Smith, Commercial Operations Manager Amy Roper and members of the field engineering team attended the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner, which was held at The Warren in Hayes, Kent and attended by over 200 people.
