Brighton Centre

AL were appointed to complete a major refurbishment to Lifts 1 & 2 at the Brighton Centre. Brighton Centre is a conference and exhibition centre located within the city centre.

Our repairs team successfully designed, supplied, installed and commissioned a new lift AC VVVF closed loop motor gear system and control panel. This was complete with the facility to fault find. Also providing new shaft switches, tape head shaft encoder,  new car top controls, new hoisting machines, new ropes and evacuation system door operator load weighting unit to the duplex lifts.

We carried out the works in two phases, completing each lift at a time to enable lift access to all users. Each lift took approx. 8 weeks to complete and worked alongside the buildings event requirements. Noise was kept to a minimum and care was provided throughout to cater to the Brighton Centre.

This contract adds to our ever growing portfolio in Brighton.
