Royal Warrant Appointment to His Majesty King Charles III

Amalgamated Lifts joins approximately 600 companies who exclusively hold this title and are one of only three lift companies to hold this prestigious accolade. 

This appointment is an honour and demonstration of our positioning in the UK Lift Industry providing our services to the Royal Households.  We also join the exclusive Royal Warrant Holders Association, and furthermore, we have received approval to display the Royal Coat of Arms alongside our branding and proudly intend to do so.

This prestigious endorsement is a reflection on the companies:

MD John Brand, set his sights on becoming a Royal Warrant holder when producing Amalgamated Lifts’ strategic vision document in 2015/16.  Within 2 years we were awarded our first Royal appointment with a project at Windsor Castle.  Within 5 years, the maintenance contract for the Royal Households followed.  The goal was to demonstrate AL’s quality and capabilities by obtaining such a unique and prestigious endorsement.  The award of our Royal Warrant is a testament to John, our leader and the resilient team he has built around him to gain such a high accolade.

This accolade reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering quality safely, underpinned by ethical and sustainable practices.  I congratulate our fantastic team for the achievement of this honour, which is testament to the professionalism and dedication shown amongst our people.  We look forward to proudly displaying the Royal Coat of Arms alongside our logo and continuing to uphold the excellent standards in everything that we do.”

A special thank you and recognition goes to Katie Jukes, Terri Webb, and Joshua Wilson for the successful Royal Warrant application bid, the Service Team who delivered the outstanding maintenance contract and the Construction Team who continue to deliver lift modernisation, and new installation works for the Royal Households.

We are particularly proud and feel very privileged of the relationship we have developed with the Royal Households over the past eight years.  Working on landmark buildings, such as Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, Kensington Palace, Clarence House, Marlborough House, and Windsor Castle has been an absolute honour.

Our company has supported the Royal Household during some of the most monumental and historical occasions in recent years such as:

• Royal Weddings
• Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee
• King Charles III Coronation
• State visits for World Leaders and Foreign Dignitaries
• Continuous contract fulfilment throughout the Covid -19 Pandemic
• The state funerals of both the late Prince Philip, and Queen Elizabeth II, for which Katie Jukes and Brian Kinsella received special recognition with a letter thanking them for their hard work and commitment in assisting with the preparations for these events.

The history of the Royal Warrant can be traced back to medieval times, when competition for Royal favour was intense and the Monarch had the pick of the country’s best tradespeople.  By the 15^th century, the Lord Chamberlain, as head of the Royal Household, formally appointed tradespeople with a Royal Warrant of Appointment – a practice that continues to this day.  Royal warrants are only granted to individuals or companies that have made a continuing and significant supply of goods and or/services over a minimum trading period, and successfully pass the strict and vigorous application process.

This truly is a momentous achievement that our company can feel proud of.
