NVQ Level 3 Engineers

London and Home Counties

We are looking for experienced NVQ Level 3 Engineers to join our ever-expanding business.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on our portfolio of lift installations
  • Diagnose, fault find and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic lift systems
  • Respond to breakdown callouts and restore equipment to safe working order
  • Complete minor repairs and recommend additional works where required
  • Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards
  • Identify worn or defective components and advise and report on remedial actions
  • Accurately and promptly complete service reports, maintenance records, and electronic job sheets
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, site-based staff, and colleagues
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota where required
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and safe systems of work
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition
  • Keep up to date with changes in lift technology, standards, and best practice

Who are we looking for?

  • Qualified Lift Engineers with proven experience in lift servicing and maintenance.
  • Competent in fault finding across mechanical and electrical lift systems.
  • Able to work independently and manage their own workload effectively.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable, organised and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Safety conscious with a thorough understanding of industry regulations.
  • Flexible and willing to travel within the designated service area.
  • A strong team player who can also work confidently on their own initiative.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Service and Repair.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good understanding of current lift regulations.

Our incredible team of engineers work across a variety of environments including residential developments, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, retail premises, industrial sites and public sector buildings. The role involves travelling between customer sites and may require working at height, in lift shafts, plant rooms and confined spaces.

Ongoing manufacturer training and professional development will be provided to support career progression and the development of technical skills.
