Our colleagues Darrell Seffens and Nikki DeDomenici attended Employ Wandsworth 2026. 👔💼🤝
Nikki says “It was great to engage with such a wide range of individuals and fellow employers. Events such as this play a huge role in bringing employers and local talent together and we were proud to be a part of such a positive and well supported event”. ⭐
Employ Wandsworth is designed specifically for Wandsworth residents to find out about locally available jobs and training.

On the 13th March we had the pleasure of hosting our first Amalgamated Apprenticeship Selection Event of 2026. The objective behind this event was to get to know our applicants better, whilst also giving them an opportunity to learn more about us and the wider lift industry🛗
During our selection event, the applicants were presented with;
-A short interview with members of our team💬🗨️
-A Maths and English assessment✍📋
-The opportunity to meet our current and former apprentices🤝
-The time to ask questions about the apprenticeships and future career opportunities💡
As always, we see the importance of upskilling our workforce and also introducing fresh talent to the industry. This is something we commit ourselves to day to day🙌
If you are or anyone in your network is interested in apprenticeships/career opportunities, then please reach out.
From all of us at AL, Congratulations & Well Done Michael for achieving your NVQ4 Certificate in Performing Testing Operations!
In March, we provided renewal First Aid, Fire Safety, Asbestos Awareness, Working At Height, Manual Handling, and Abrasive Wheels training for both our office and field representatives. The training was tailored to our company procedures, and that of the wider lift industry. Thank you to our in house Compliance Manager who ensured these training courses were delivered and scheduled in a way which caused minimal disruption to business operations, whilst ensuring that our staff’s training is up to date and compliant with the latest Health and Safety Standards. Those in attendance noted that the courses delivered, “made fact based learning extremely easy to digest”.
