It has been an incredible couple of days at Liftex 2025.

We’ve enjoyed reconnecting with old friends, meeting new faces and celebrating this amazing industry.

A huge thank you to everyone that stopped by our stand to say hello, joined in our ‘10 Floor Challenge’ or shared a game of darts with ‘The Machine’ James Wade.

The last two days have been exciting and full on, as the team at Amalgamated Lifts and Fujitec UK have worked incredibly hard to create their stand! 🙌👏

This is the first time exhibiting and we are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow, to not only take part in our ‘10 Floor Challange’, or get your hands on some ‘goody bags’, and meet our exceptional people who make the difference and provide that smooth transition.

25 Year Work Anniversary

We are extremely proud to recognise and honour the significant milestone achieved by three of our longest servicing employees; Liz, Dave and Doug!

Last month marked their 25th year of working for us.
Massive congratulations to them and a HUGE THANK YOU from all of us at Amalgamated Lifts for their unwavering hard work and dedication!

 

Fact Based Learning Made Easy

In March, we provided renewal First Aid, Fire Safety, Asbestos Awareness, Working At Height, Manual Handling, and Abrasive Wheels training for both our office and field representatives. The training was tailored to our company procedures, and that of the wider lift industry.  Thank you to our in house Compliance Manager who ensured these training courses were delivered and scheduled in a way which caused minimal disruption to business operations, whilst ensuring that our staff’s training is up to date and compliant with the latest Health and Safety Standards.  Those in attendance noted that the courses delivered, “made fact based learning extremely easy to digest”.

School Careers Fair Event

It was an absolute delight to take part in a Careers Fair Event held within our local community. We had the opportunity to answer some really insightful questions from the curious Key Stage 2 pupils! It was great to be joined by a variety of industries at the event and give back to the community in which we serve. – Sassi Machines running at 1.6m/s ✔

– Dinacell load weighers fitted to rope tails in motor room ✔

– Lops, DAC landing indicators (programmed in black and white in keeping with the buildings design) ✔

– Langer & Laumann Door Operators ✔

– Re-roped, including safety ropes for overspeed governors ✔
